Collodion wet plate photography

All photographs are 4x5" tintypes.

Wetplate collodion is an early form of photography where instead of a film, the image is captured and developed to special aluminium (tin type) or glass plate (ambrotype) coated with collodion liquid. 

As with all of Pitkänen's work, no AI or digital photo manipulation have been used.
